Good question.
There are hundreds of thousands of unit trust investors in Malaysia. Some have been investing for years and some are new investors. Others are contemplating investing because they believe that unit trust investing can be profitable and also they have got EPF funds that they can use to invest with.
Some have got profitable experiences but by and large, most investors have found out that their hard-earned money can be "lost" even in "safe" investments like unit trust!
Such a club can be a meeting place for investors, potential investors, agents, financial advisors, utmc officials to share tips and trade experiences as well as battle-scars so that one and all can benefit from the experience of others rather than having to pay the price for the experience.
Investing is a financial adventure. Whilst there are no safe and sure investments, investing need not be risky. Being uninformed about investing is!
The market place is now "bad" and 2009 is projected to be "badder" but it is exactly in such BAD times that opportunities for investing abound ...... if only you knew and listen to your head instead of your heart.
Shalom.
